Paper knife embroidery

Don’t know where I am heading to but the idea was to do embroidery using my paper knife and a pin. Any suggestions or good blog with embroidery patterns that you are aware of would be very much appreciated :D?

Watch me growing…

I am having a progress here, hee, hee. The tricky part will be joining them all, but I’ll think about that tomorrow, or (I can see myself) calling for my mum… She is an expert but I don’t understand a thing she’s saying. She uses some strange terms in Serbian language which I can’t follow, she moves her finger so fast and she’s left handed. And, I, I learnt to crochet watching a lot of tutorials, mostly in English so…huge misunderstanding over terminology here.

Easter centerpiece

I am not THAT romantic! Just happened. My little boy likes it, the big one is not so trilled, well, the girl must have some moment on her own so I am keeping!

Bottle flower

I could not resist the beauty of this plastic bottle flower I found at Crafty sisters’ blog. It'll take you two minutes to make them and some time to dry but the effect is gorgeous!

Look out for a Whimsical spring wreath here.

Easter wreath templates

In case that you want to make an Easter wreath I would love to help. Feel free to use these templates and let me know if you do so. I would love to see your's.

Just a few quick tips: I made a wreath out of old newspapers, fixed it with some tape and wrapped it with a white ribbon. I glued some paper roses and attached cut out templates of different sizes. Enjoy you weekend!

Easter wreath

Looks more like a wedding wreath, but I pronounce it as an Easter one. It’s just a sneak peek of my Easter centerpiece.

Six things about me

Dearest Izzy got me into this game. I accepted. The rules are simple: write six random things about yourself and illustrate them with a photo, get to know better other bloggers.

I don’t like to write about myself, but I love to read about others, so I suppose, I will have to sacrifice. Curiosity killed the cat… anyway…

1. I am a bad singer, even my son doesn’t like to hear me singing. My everlasting wish is to be on a stage and be backup vocals, but not just any backup vocal; I want to be Duran Duran’s Lamya. Yes, so I said it…

2. I know haw to change a flat tyre and I know a lot more, each and every part of Mercedes-Benz, all models. I am not a car freak, my knowledge is purely theoretic, I just happened to translate the catalogues.

3. I am a natural borne tennis talent discovered too latte.

4. I have uncontrollable passion for sweets, creamy, juicy, with chocolate, without chocolate, crunchy, seductive, tasty….

5. There is one place in my hometown where I love to spend time. A lake called Ada. The best thing about this lake is that when it’s chilly outside you can still sit in a hammock with a blanket, sip a drink and get hypnotized by the water.

6. I am an Internet addict, but then again, aren’t we all?
I would love to know better: Neli, Aleksandra, Momichka, Teodora, Fabi

Blown eggs

My first ever blown eggs, covered in metallic paint, placed on a paper holder, getting ready for a big premiere.

Granny squares

Month or two ago I started to crochet because I wanted to make a blanket out of granny squares. Looked like a mission impossible to me. My mom actually burst into laugh and my husband told me to go and buy one….so, support I have none. Thanks to Teresa and her’s wonderful, helpful, my dream came true blog I learnt how to make it!!!!! Paper cut leaf

My forefinger aches and I have a slight filing of dizziness but I have it done, cut, finished. At first I wanted to make just one half of a leaf, but then something strikes me and I changed my mind. It looks like this now; tomorrow I might change it….

Reddish...

It seems that I am passing through some reddish phase. Today, I’ve got almost nothing new to show you. It’s the same old tree getting ready for a voyage and I just wanted to give it a credit dressing it up for upcoming Easter.

Martenitsa

I’ve got these "martenitsa"-s - a double red and white tassel from my very dear blog friend rossichka
Discover an ancient Bulgarian tradition related to them over at her blog.
Thank you so much! I hope that you have already seen a tree in blossom or some violets at least.
I used them for my Easter decoration.

Cereal box bookmark

When I travel I always bring some books, one for me, one for my husband and one for my kid. This time I failed and didn’t bring any for my husband so I was punished and had to share IT with him. I needed some bookmarks so I cut them out of a cereal box.
Never read the same book at the same time with somebody!
