This blanket has a story of its own. I do believe in healing powers of everything that you do with your own hands. To me it is the crochet, helps me be mindful, appreciate the action and stop for a moment, step out of the bubble. What does it mean to you?

A Perfect Day

This is not so much whether this day will be a “perfect day” but is much more to try to understand what a simple day means to you. It’s different for each person — for me, it might mean some meditation, some new recipe that I found, new crochet project. Take a minute to visualize what it means to you.

How did I learn to crochet?

The trick is that I completely accepted that it is fine to try and fail, not to be perfect, to create something and have people judge you. I consider that a positive thing.

Until you try and fail, you’ll never see where your lack of understanding is. The best way to learn something is to study, try, practice, make mistakes, then learn some more.

This pillow was done and undone several times and finally I made it! What is your experience?
