Punched card

Rather easy and pretty card to make. All you need is a pin, pair of scissors and a cardboard. Choose or draw the motive and either punch or cut the solid lines. I like the combination of these two techniques.

3d paper

Last night when I cut the recycled tree, something occured to me, wanted to make a 3d paper out of plain one and I did some experiment. Hope that you can catch the idea.

Recycled card

I don’t’ like to throw away paper, even if it is simple, plain cardboard. Out of this one I cut a Christmas tree. Little bit of cutting, little bit of punching and voilá…

X-mas ornament, part II

I did some paper cutting and some glittering and I made another version of X-mas ornament.

Papier mache ornament

I am sticking to the paper. It’s my favorite material and I want a homemade paper Christmas this year. The ball is made out of papier mache, colored in red and white with a touch of glitter inside and embellishment which is actually a mobile phone pendant bought in 1 euro store.

Book mark

Somebody could think, wow, what a romantic soul cutting all that harts shapes endlessly, but believe me, I am romantic, but not that much… If you are planning to give a book as a Christmas gift, just spice it up with some self made book mark, it’s a nice touch. Here is an idea.

Looks a bit kitschy, don’t you think so? Or maybe this colour doesn’t go well with all these swirls. I think that I should get rid of them.
Like him more this way.

Paper curtain

Very easy and effective way to decorate your kid’s room for up coming holidays. My seven old son and I, we made this paper curtain for his birthday but decided to keep it till Christmas.

Leaf cage

Cutting the leaf wasn’t my idea. Saw it here (http://jennyleefowler.blogspot.com/) and was curious. Turned out that it was easy and compared to paper there is no difference. Of course, you need to press them first.

Quilled roses tutorial

Tea from Hobbychic (http://www.hobbychic.blogspot.com/) asked me to make a tutorial for quilled roses, so Tea, I decided to give it a try.
You will need quilling stripes. If you don’t have these, just make them out of paper. Mine are 1 cm wide; the size of yours depends on width of the stripe. You will also need a quilling tool, which I don’t have and instead I use toothpick.

Step 1: Roll the paper 2 or 3 rounds around the tool.

Step 2: Fold the paper 90° downwards so that it is parallel to the quilling tool.

Step 3: Continue to roll the strip of paper. Repeat fold-and-roll until you have no more paper left.

Step 4: Remove the rose off the quilling tool and allow the rolls to relax and re-adjust themselves.

Glue the loose end onto the bottom of the rose. And you're done.

Korak 1: Uvijte papirnu traku oko alata - čačkalice dva do tri puta.
